What supports may be available
Supports may include:
- a one-time lump sum payment (also known as injury indemnity) based on the severity of your vaccine injury
- if eligible, monthly payments towards income support
- reimbursement of eligible treatment or rehabilitation expenses not covered by insurance or benefits
- a death benefit, in the rare instance that a vaccine recipient is deceased as a result of receiving a Health Canada-authorized vaccine and a probable causal relationship has been determined by the Program
- limited support for bereavement expenses
