20.6.0 More than one reason to write-off
Sometimes, more than one write-off provision may be applicable to the same overpayment (EI Regulation 56).
In situations where more than one regulatory provision is met, the issue may be resolved chronologically by determining which provision would have occurred first. However, when one provision is more advantageous for the claimant than another, that provision should be applied.
