Regulations
The Government is launching consultations in the upcoming weeks with stakeholders from industry, environmental organizations, and other partners on the design of strengthened greenhouse gas (GHG) emission performance standards for light-duty vehicles in line with Canada’s new national targets to achieve a goal of 75% EV sales by 2035 and 90% by 2040.
