Become a CVITP organization

As a Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) organization, you can host or support free tax clinics that help eligible people in your community file their income tax and benefit returns. Federal tax returns must be prepared free of charge at all times, regardless of the tax year being filed.

With support from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), your organization works with volunteers to help individuals with a modest income and a simple tax situation access the benefit and credit payments they are entitled to.
