Climate action incentive payment (CAIP)

The last Climate action incentive payment was sent out January 15, 2024.

The April 15, 2024, payment will be the Canada Carbon Rebate (CCR). If you file your taxes electronically by March 15, 2024, you should receive your next CCR payment on April 15, 2024. If you file after March 15, 2024, you will receive your April payment later, once your return has been assessed. Because CCR is based on households, both spouses or common-law partners need to file.
