Canadian General Standards Board
The Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) was a federal government organization that offered client-centered, comprehensive standards development and conformity assessment services in support of the economic, regulatory, procurement, health, safety and environmental interests of our stakeholders—government, industry and consumers.
As of April 1, 2026, the Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) will no longer offer standards development or conformity assessment services.
Organizations can continue to access CGSB standards at no cost through our catalogue.
