Collaborative procurement opportunities for governments and other eligible organizations: Eligibility and conditions of use
To use the Canadian Collaborative Procurement Initiative (CCPI) tools to purchase goods and services, participants must enter into an agreement directly with their province or territory or with Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).
Who can apply
Municipalities, academic institutions, schools and hospitals (MASH) can apply to join the CCPI through their provincial or territorial governments.
Other eligible organizations
If your institution is not a part of the MASH sector, you may still be eligible to join the CCPI directly through PSPC. Eligible organizations include:
- Canadian Crown corporations
- intergovernmental organizations
- Canadian aid agencies
- Canadian public health organizations
Conditions and eligibility
The following conditions apply when using PSPC procurement tools:
- PSPC is responsible for managing the terms and conditions of the procurement instrument agreements
- buyers are responsible for resolving disputes between themselves and the seller, although PSPC may help to clarify terms
- prices, terms and/or conditions of the procurement instrument agreements were already agreed on and cannot be modified or negotiated
- buyers may purchase goods within the commodity groups covered by the procurement instrument agreements:
- goods not listed in the procurement instruments should be purchased using other tools
