Cyclospora is diagnosed by the identification of cyclospora oocysts in stool sample.
How is cyclosporiasis treated?
Cyclosporiasis is treated with a prescription medication. Your symptoms will probably improve within 2 to 3 days after you start taking medication.
However, it may take several weeks before your intestinal problems completely disappear.
