4. After you apply
We aim to give a funding decision within 90 business days 90% of the time after the closing date for a call for Expressions of Interest or after receiving a complete proposal.
We assess applications based on your project’s:
- ability to achieve the Regional Quantum Initiative objectives
- ability to help Canadian companies advance and commercialize quantum products and solutions for domestic and global markets
- market potential
- management capability
- financial capacity
- economic impacts through jobs created, revenue and export sales growth and technologies brought to market
- technology readiness (technology commercialization projects only)
