3. How to apply
PacifiCan uses a two-stage application process for CEDD. After discussing your project with PacifiCan, the first step is to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). If your EOI is successful, you will be invited to submit a full application.
Expression of Interest
To submit an EOI:
- review the eligibility requirements
- contact PacifiCan to discuss your project’s alignment with CEDD and for more information about the application process
- create a user profile in our application portal (if you haven’t done so already)
- receive an invitation from us to submit an EOI
- prepare your EOI including descriptions of your organization, its mandate, the project you are proposing, the expected economic benefits of the project, estimated project costs and your organization’s management
- submit your EOI through our application portal
EOIs that are entered into our application portal but not submitted will not be assessed.
Full application
If your EOI is successful, you will be invited to submit a full application. You will need to supply detailed information about your project in your full application.

Information provided by applicants may be shared with other federal departments and agencies, provincial/territorial governments, and/or municipal governments, for the purpose of reviewing projects and determining eligibility for other Government of Canada programs.
