Moving can be a complex and stressful time for military families. That’s why we’ve listened to the experiences of you, our constituents, to develop the ABCs of Military Postings.

The ABCs of Military Postings aim to provide information for you, and your spouse or partner, to make informed choices about your move.

Part A of this series goes over the steps you should take in preparation before receiving your posting instruction. It includes updating your budget, housing market information, spousal and partner employment, and services available to you and your family.

Part B outlines the steps you should take upon receiving your posting instruction. It includes moving benefits, tips to buy or sell a residence, and military housing information.

Part C reviews what you should do after you have completed your move. It includes identifying emergency contacts, and updating your budget.
