Regulating ultraviolet radiation-emitting and ozone-generating devices under the Pest Control Products Act: List of registered devices
The Pesticide Product Information Database provides information on products, active ingredients and programs related to pesticides and other pest control products regulated by Health Canada. This includes ultraviolet (UV) radiation-emitting and ozone-generating devices registered for sale in Canada under the Pest Control Products Act
Since authorized UV radiation-emitting devices in Canada do not require an application to Health Canada, a list of these devices is not available. Contact the manufacturer to confirm:
- if a particular UV radiation-emitting device meets all conditions of authorization, and
- that risks of UV exposure are addressed
