Health Canada is committed to engaging health product stakeholders and the people of Canada on drug and other health product shortages.
Copies of this consultation guide are being shared with provinces and territories, industry supply chain players, patient groups, health care providers and representatives of academia. We're also interested in hearing directly from the public.
The information you provide will be used to inform a strategy to improve the availability of drugs and other health products in Canada. It will benefit both Health Canada and others who have a role to play in improving access to drugs and other health products for everyone.
Health Canada will publish a report summarizing what we heard in response to this guide and related engagement activities.
