November is Financial Literacy Month
Since 2011, Financial Literacy Month (FLM) has helped Canadians strengthen their financial knowledge and skills to improve their financial well-being. Led by the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC), the national campaign supports the National Financial Literacy Strategy by bringing its priorities to life through practical education, outreach, and engagement. This year's campaign also coincides with FCAC's 25th anniversary, marking a quarter century of helping Canadians make informed financial decisions.
Financial Literacy Month is a collective effort, bringing together organizations from across Canada to help people build financial confidence and access trusted information, tools, and support. That impact is made possible through collaboration, with participating organizations contributing each year by hosting events, sharing resources, and creating opportunities for people to learn and talk about money. Organizations that plan and register their activities will be recognized as part of this national effort, helping showcase the breadth and impact of financial literacy initiatives across Canada.
We invite organizations to register their FLM activities and join a growing network of partners working together to help Canadians improve their financial confidence, well-being, and resilience.

The 2026 “Talk Money” campaign encourages Canadians to have purposeful conversations about money and the financial moments that influence their confidence and well-being. Talking about money can help people better understand their options, learn from others, access trusted information and resources, and feel more confident making financial decisions.
Throughout November, FLM 2026 sparks conversations about relatable and timely financial topics that help Canadians save, plan, and protect their money. Whether you're building an emergency fund, managing debt, planning for future goals, weighing important financial choices, or protecting yourself from fraud, FLM offers practical tools, resources, and opportunities to support more informed financial decisions and greater financial confidence.
