Consultation Approach

Consultations will begin upon publication of the present Strategy on the CEPA Registry to solicit input from the public. The need for workshops or meetings with stakeholders will be determined based on responses to the web posting and direct communication with affected parties.

Stakeholders in the consultation process will include associations representing manufacturers of mercury-containing products, manufacturers, importers and suppliers of mercury-containing products, environmental non-governmental organizations (ENGOs), provinces and territories and various Government Departments and Agencies.
