Work Stoppages

The Labour Program collects and analyses work stoppages data, which covers strikes and lockouts that amount to 10 or more person-days not worked.

Data for 2026 cover the months of January through May.

Exceptions: The 2026 figures are preliminary and subject to further revision. 2025 figures for Québec are preliminary and subject to further revision.
