National Defence Workplace Charitable Campaign

The power to make a difference in the world lies in the strength of us united as a team! The 2026 National Defence Workplace Charity Campaign (NDWCC) will be led by our new champion team featuring VAdm D.A. Charleboise, Commander of the Royal Canadian Navy, and Camille Lajoie Riel, Project Officer from Digital Services Group. This year, we are also proud to welcome the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) in the campaign, further expanding our collective efforts to support communities across Canada. Together, Building Stronger Communities!

This year, one of the focuses will be inspiring more engagement within the National Defence and Canadian Coast Guard communities, promoting teamwork and participation and awareness in the campaign and its events. Participation in the campaign can look different to each person, you can be involved by making a financial donation, spreading the message, volunteering your time to make a difference or a combination thereof, and we thank you for your support. Through collective action and teamwork, we can strengthen our communities, support meaningful causes, and demonstrate the values of collaboration, compassion, and service that unite us!

The campaign will be kicked off on September 10th, 2026, and run straight through to December 31st, 2026. Don't let that stop you though, donations and funds raised will still be accepted up until the end of fiscal! Stay informed as there will be plenty of virtual and in-person events being hosted across the nation in support of various charity groups!

Our goal is to achieve 100% canvassing across the department, increase involvement and participation and to raise over 2 million dollars for Canadian charities which provide ongoing support for:

• Strengthening communities;
• Health, research and recovery;
• Organizations supporting Veterans;
• And more!

With your kindness and generosity, we know this goal is more than achievable. Together, every small contribution combines to create a greater impact down the road.

With your support, last year we to raise over 2.1 million dollars for charities nation-wide, while accomplishing 100% canvassing. This wouldn't have been possible without your support.
