The Office of the Auditor General of Canada will be in Yellowknife to deliver the findings of the audit of child and family services in the Northwest Territories

Ottawa, May 22, 2026 —The report of the Auditor General of Canada—Child and Family Services in the Northwest Territories—will be presented to the Northwest Territories Legislative Assembly on Thursday, May 28, 2026.

Access to electronic embargoed report

2:00 pm Mountain Time (MT)

Journalists accredited by a recognized media organization who wish to receive an embargoed electronic copy of the report must register by emailing infomedia@oag-bvg.gc.ca before 4:30 pm MT on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Embargoed copies will be provided at 2:00 pm MT on Thursday, May 28, 2026. Please note that the embargoed report is available only electronically; there is no in-person media lock-up.

The report will be available on the Office of the Auditor General of Canada website once it has been tabled by the Speaker of the Northwest Territories Legislative Assembly at approximately 3:30 pm MT.
