Does the survivor benefit under the public service pension plan cease if you remarry?
No. The survivor benefit is payable for life and is not affected by remarriage.

Is the payment of the child allowance affected by your remarriage or new common-law relationship?
No. The child allowance for a surviving child is paid until the end of the month when the child turns 18 or, if 18 or older, until the child stops attending an educational institution full-time or turns 25, whichever occurs first.
