Volunteer Leave - Information Notices

December 10, 2001

This bulletin is further to our previous bulletin dated November 30, 2001, regarding Volunteer Leave.

In question number four (4) in the attachment to the above-mentioned bulletin, it was stated that employees are not required to provide written proof in order to qualify for Volunteer Leave.

In addition, employees are not required to identify the charitable organization or the community activity when making application for Volunteer Leave.

Departmental compensation and staff relations managers should direct any questions that they may have to their corporate compensation officials who, if applicable, will contact the Pay Administration Section.
