Union Dues Increase - Canadian Association of Professional Employees (CAPE)

The Canadian Association of Professional Employees (CAPE) has informed our office that, effective January 1, 2006, the monthly dues deductions for members of the Economics and Social Science Services (ES, SI) and Translation (TR) bargaining units changed from $23.00 to $35.00.

The adjustment will automatically be made by PWGSC through their monthly input to the pay system. No departmental input will be required.

Departmental compensation and labour relations managers are to direct any questions that they may have to their corporate compensation or labour relations officials, who, if need be, will contact Pierrette Lemay, Policy Analyst, Labour Relations Operations, Labour Relations and Compensation Operations.
