DATE:

This is further to our bulletin dated , whereby Treasury Board departments and organizations were advised of the application of the rounding of the balance of vacation leave credits at the end of the fiscal year.

The Technical Services (TC) collective agreement, however, still provides for the rounding up of vacation leave credits at the end of the fiscal year.

Even though the provision still exists for the TC collective agreement, it does not apply to employees on variable hours of work or to part-time employees.

Departmental compensation and staff relations managers should direct any questions that they may have to their appropriate corporate officials who, if need be, can contact the Collective Bargaining Section of Labour Relations.
