Re-opening of PA, SV, and EB collective agreements - Effective December 21, 2010

The purpose of this bulletin is to inform departments of the re opening of the current Collective Agreement for the Program and Administrative Services (PA), Operational Services (SV) and Education and Library Science (EB) occupational groups.
The existing collective agreements for the PA, SV and EB groups are re opened to implement changes in respect of the following provisions:
- Bereavement Leave;
- Leave With Pay for Family-Related Responsibilities; and
- Sick Leave for Term Employees.
In addition, the PA collective agreement will also include a new appendix on:
Joint Consultation regarding the Transformation of Pay Administration Initiative.
This re-opening is effective December 21, 2010. The amended language attached to this bulletin replaces the existing provisions of the above-noted collective agreements. The agreements will not be re-printed.
