Rates of Pay for Excluded Employees of Certain Specific Occupational Groups: – ED, FR, MD, NU, PI, SR(W)

The purpose of this bulletin is to announce the revised rates of pay as approved by the Treasury Board of Canada for excluded positions in the Education (ED), Firefighters (FR), Medicine (MD), Nursing (NU), Primary Products Inspection (PI) and Ship repair West (SR(W)) groups.

Rates of pay

The Rates of pay for unrepresented and senior excluded employees page contains the rates of pay for those excluded positions not authorized within the following applicable collective agreements:

  • Education and Library Science (EB) for the Education Group (ED);
  • Operational Service (SV) for the Firefighters Group (FR);
  • Health Services (SH) for the Medicine Group (MD) and the Nursing Group (NU);
  • Technical Services (TC) for the Primary Products Inspection Group (PI); and
  • SR(W) Ship repair (West) for the MGT Ship Repair Management Sub-Group.

Note: A $650 lump sum payment is payable to eligible employees in excluded positions in the Education Group (ED)

SR-MGT-02/03 terms and conditions of employment

In addition, as a result of a Treasury Board of Canada decision, incumbents of the SR-MGT-02 and SR-MGT-03 occupational group will for all purposes, excluding the rates of pay, remain subject to the terms and conditions of employment of the SR(W) collective agreement.
