Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada (CEP) Local 588G - Changes to Membership

The purpose of this information bulletin is to inform you that the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada Local 588G has advised us of changes in membership dues effective June 1, 2012, October 1, 2012 and October 1, 2013.

These changes in membership dues apply to the Non-Supervisory Printing Services (PR-NS) Group, as a result of salary increases reflected in the collective agreement signed on February 14, 2012. CEP does not intend to recover arrears back to October 2011. The October 2011 rates are effective June 1, 2012 and are not retroactive. The rates will need to be changed again in October 2012 and October 2013, as noted in the attached document that includes the new membership dues rates.

Note: The new rates were sent to departments electronically and will not be posted to the website.

This adjustment will be made manually at the departmental level, therefore, please disseminate this notice to your compensation advisors.
