Information Notice - Delay to the Update to the Isolated Posts and Government Housing Directive - Appendices A, B, C, G, M

Please distribute this notice and the amended appendices of the Isolated Posts and Government Housing Directive (IPGHD) as quickly as possible to persons at your headquarters and regional offices who are involved in the administration of the isolated post allowances.

I wish to inform you that the annual update to the Isolated Posts and Government Housing Directive which usually occurs on August 1st every year will be delayed until the fall. The revised allowances will be retroactive to August 1^st, 2008.

We regret any inconvenience this delay may cause and we thank you for your patience and understanding.
