Information Notice - Changes to Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) Special Levy Contributions

The Public Service Alliance of Canada has advised us of changes to special levy contributions, taking effect on .
The PSAC special levies of $2.00 and $2.75 are no longer applicable. As a result, the levy of $0.35 per member per month will increase to $1.00 per member per month.
These adjustments will be made automatically to the pay system. No departmental input will be required.
Please note that this new rate change applies to all employees who are currently paying membership dues and are covered by collective agreements between the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat and the PSAC.
Departmental Compensation and Labour Relations managers should direct any questions to their appropriate corporate officials who, if need be, can contact the Pay Administration Section.
Any employee enquiries regarding these membership dues changes are to be directed to their respective PSAC Component.
