Changes to the leave reporting system, new leave code for the PC group for professional development

The purpose of this notice is to inform you that a new leave code has been created in the Leave Reporting System which is effective .
This new leave code has been created to keep track of the use of leave with pay for professional development for employees of the PC group only – Applied Science and Patent Examination (SP) group. Please refer to new article 18.04 c) of the collective agreement signed .

Code 621 - Leave with pay for professional development
Departments must ensure that their Leave Reporting System is amended accordingly. These leave transactions must be reported to the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat for each fiscal year period (April 1 to March 31), first reporting period starting .
All questions should be directed to your Departmental Corporate Labour Relations or Corporate Compensation Official who, if required will direct their questions to the Compensation and Labour Relations group at the following email address: Interpretations@tbs-sct.gc.ca.
