Changes to the Leave Reporting System, New Leave Codes - ED - Education and Library Services

The purpose of this notice is to inform you that new leave codes have been created in the Leave Reporting System.
New leave codes have been created to keep track of the use of two leaves with pay for ED-EST and EU-TEA employees who work a ten (10) month work year at Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada.

- One-time Personal Leave – (clause 60.02 of the collective agreement) Adjustment
- Code 551 -
- One-time Personal Leave – Used
- Code 560 -
- Leave with pay for Personal Reasons (clause 60.01 of the collective agreement) Adjustment
- Code 561 -
- Leave with pay for Personal Reasons – Used
This type of leave cannot be paid on termination of employment. It must be used while employed.
Departments must ensure that their Leave Reporting System is amended accordingly. The effective date for reporting these leave transactions to the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat will be as of .
