Changes to the Leave Reporting System - New Leave Code for Pedagogical Leave

Introduction

The purpose of this Information Bulletin is to inform departments and agencies of the core public administration (CPA) that a new leave code has been created to record the use of leave with pay for Pedagogical leave. This leave code is mandatory.

Eligibility

This new leave code is available to employees covered by the following collective agreements:

• Education and Library Science – EB, groups ED, EU
• Electronics – EL
• Radio Operations -RO
• Ship Officers – SO
• University Teaching – UT

Effective Date

In accordance with the memorandums with respect to the Implementation of the Collective Agreement, this new leave takes effect on the date of signing of the relevant collective agreement or as specified in the document of authority.

Code 685 – Other paid leave – Pedagogical Leave

The code 685 for, “Other paid leave – Pedagogical” has been created to record the use of leave with pay.
