Change to the Leave Reporting System - Foreign Service Leave

The purpose of this information bulletin is to inform you that the following changes will be implemented in the Leave Reporting System.
Post leave is earned according to the provisions of Foreign Service Directive 46 - Post Leave/Option. The leave codes for this leave type are currently identified as follows:
- Post Leave
- PST 730 – Post Leave/Option – Earned
- PST 731 – Post Leave/Option – Used
- PST 732 – Post Leave/Option – Paid
These codes will now be listed with the Foreign Service Leave and the titles will change as follows:
- Foreign Service Leave
- FOR 730 – Foreign Service – Post Leave – Earned
- FOR 731 – Foreign Service – Post Leave – Used
- FOR 732 – Foreign Service – Post Leave – Paid
As well, the title for code 720 will change to:
- FOR 720 - Foreign Service Travel Credit
Please note that Employees are no longer entitled to earn leave credits under Foreign Service Directive 45 - Foreign Service Travel Credit Bank and Foreign Service Leave Credit Bank. Credits already earned are held in a bank under code FOR 799 – Foreign Service earned.
