Advertising fund allocations
Funding for federal advertising activities can come from the Central Advertising Fund, and/or from departmental reference levels.
The tables that follow list current campaigns funded from the Central Advertising Fund. This information is updated in January, April, July and October. Advertising allocations for previous years are also available.
The amounts shown on this page represent advertising fund allocations and do not constitute actual expenditures. Allocations are provided to departments and agencies to support planned advertising activities; however, spending may occur over multiple quarters and may not align with the quarter in which funds were allocated. Final advertising expenditures are reported annually in the Government of Canada Annual Report on Advertising, which provides a comprehensive account of actual spending.
