Administrative Burden Baseline: Update 2025
The Administrative Burden Baseline initiative requires departments to establish a count of the requirements in federal regulations that impose an administrative burden on business. This baseline contributes to the openness and transparency of the federal regulatory system.
All federal regulations that fall under the responsibility of the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat and that have requirements that impose administrative burden on business are identified below. The total count for 2025 is 13.
