SSC is developing and piloting CANChat, a generative AI tool built on data science principles that leverages an SSC AI framework. This ensures that mandatory considerations for privacy, ethics, security and accuracy are all built in from day one.

Chatbots like ChatGPT and Copilot have the potential to revolutionize our workplaces. They can help us find relevant information, generate content like emails and summaries, and edit our content for tone and length. However, these tools store information in foreign countries and do not comply with the privacy and security requirements of the GC.
