Modern communication services for the workforce

Shared Services Canada is improving the ways in which public servants connect across organizations and communicate with Canadians.

At this booth you will learn how to:

make a call using the new softphone service, which allows users to place phone calls through any Internet connection. It works on modern headsets or laptops, and users can seamlessly move calls between devices.
use “voice services in a box” for special events or emergency situations. Think hot spot for your mobile device, but on a larger scale.
maximize what your smartphone can do for you. Through GC applications, you can access boardrooms, place video calls and collaborate with colleagues.
use kiosk mode on tablets to provide purpose-built user experiences, such as surveys, interactive demos or concierge services.
