Transcript
A young man sits in a public space, working at a laptop.
“Opioid overdoses aren’t always obvious.”
He sees another young man at a nearby table, also at an open laptop. The man is pale with blue-grey fingers and appears asleep, his head resting on the table.
“Signs may include blue or grey lips or nails, and trouble breathing or waking up.”
The first man grabs a kit from his backpack, labeled “Naloxone”. He hurries to the other table and shakes the man’s shoulder. Finding him unresponsive, he turns to a woman and tells her to call 9-1-1.
