Recommendation 1:

NSIRA recommends that the Departments ensure that the information on caveats and interdepartmental coordination contained in their annual ACA reports be comprehensive and properly contextualized.

CSIS response

CSIS agrees with NSIRA’s recommendation.

CSIS has updated the language used in its annual report regarding interdepartmental coordination to ensure greater clarity.

CSIS will continue produce comprehensive and properly contextualized annual reporting on its usage of caveats.
