Lists of Registered Investments (RIs)
In accordance with section 204.5 of the Income Tax Act, a list of all registered investments (RIs) as of December 31 of the preceding year will be published on this page each year. Since January 1, 2023, the list is no longer published in the Canada Gazette.
Consult the list to see if a specific trust or corporation is an RI. RIs are qualified investments for the purposes of the following plans:
- registered retirement savings plan (RRSP)
- registered retirement income fund (RRIF)
- deferred profit sharing plan (DPSP)
- tax-free savings account (TFSA)
- registered education savings plan (RESP)
- registered disability savings plan (RDSP)
- first home savings account (FHSA)
