A web form has been designed for banks, credit unions, and trust companies to onboard to the CRA Direct Deposit Program or to update their contact information.
If you represent a bank, credit union, or trust company and would like to offer your clients the ability to register for the CRA direct deposit service through your institution, or if you need to update your organization's contact information, you can now submit a web form online.

The web form is intended for banks, credit unions, and trust companies only. It does not apply to their clients.
- The web form is separated in two categories:
- CRA direct deposit service for individuals
- CRA direct deposit service for businesses
Banks, credit unions, and trust companies must be part of Payments Canada and provide a valid financial (FI) number when completing the web form.
*It is very important to notify the CRA of any updates or changes your organization intends to make regarding the CRA direct deposit service for individuals or businesses.
