Excise tax statistics

The excise tax statistics publication presents the amount of excise tax assessed for petroleum products (excluding the fuel charge), fuel-inefficient vehicles, and air conditioners designed for automobiles. The excise tax statistics are based on information that the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) collected and processed from excise tax remitters within a specific fiscal year (April 1^st to March 31^st).
