Promoters of tax evasion schemes as well as those who participate will be detected, investigated and prosecuted.

Making false claims on your tax return will result in your paying fines and penalties and may result in jail time.

You are encouraged to call the CRA to report anyone promoting or participating in fraudulent tax schemes.
