Disclosure of Briefing Binders for Parliamentary Appearances of Ministers or Deputy Heads
On June 21, 2019, changes to the Access to Information Act came into force. The changes created new proactive publication requirements for all government institutions regarding briefing materials prepared for the purpose of a parliamentary appearance by a Minister or a Deputy Head.
The Canada Revenue Agency prepared the briefing documents below for the appearances before a committee of Parliament by either the Minister of National Revenue or the Commissioner of Revenue.
The Agency publishes the briefing documents within 120 days of an appearance before a committee of Parliament.
