How we collect and share protected information

We collect personal information pursuant to:

• Department of Public Works and Government Services Act
• Royal Canadian Mounted Police Act
• Competition Act
• Privacy Act

We will use information provided to gather intelligence, share information and eventually investigate, where applicable, allegations of fraud, collusion or corruption in federal contracts and real property agreements. The information will be shared among the relevant federal organizations including Public Services and Procurement Canada, the Competition Bureau and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The information could eventually be used for enforcement action.

Protecting your privacy

The information you provide is voluntary. It will not affect any dealings you may have with the Government of Canada currently or in the future.

If you choose to provide your personal information, we may contact you to clarify statements or ask for additional information.

Personal information that you provide is protected under the provisions of the Privacy Act. The Act provides you with a right of access to your information.

Concerns about your privacy
