Trilateral public procurement forum: Canada, United Kingdom, and United States
As part of Public Services and Procurement Canada’s (PSPC) cooperative engagements with international governments, the Canada, United Kingdom (U.K.), and United States (U.S.) trilateral public procurement forum aims to:
- build and foster relationships between the participating countries while exploring subjects of common interest
- share best practices and lessons learned related to public procurement
- explore solutions to common procurement challenges
- examine approaches to efficient and effective procurement
Members and meetings
The forum is composed of members from the:
- Federal Acquisitions Service, U.S. General Services Administration
- U.K. Government Commercial Function
- PSPC’s Procurement Branch, Government of Canada
Meetings between members are held quarterly through teleconference. In-person summits are hosted on an annual rotational basis.
Statement of affirmation
All three countries jointly developed a statement of affirmation that outlines the shared commitment to collaborate on issues of common interest.
Through our shared commitment to developing and promoting innovations that lead to more efficient and effective public procurement, the United States, United Kingdom and Canada shall work collaboratively to modernize procurement, share best practices, identify savings and ensure value for taxpayers in all aspects of procurement.
