Refresh/re-competition schedule
In an effort to keep both the supplier and client communities informed of upcoming events, the following table is provided. Descriptions of the differences between a refresh and a competition can be found at the bottom of the page.
This table presents details of the ProServices bidding schedule.

| July 4, 2023 | The closing date of the ProServices request for supply arrangement has been modified from 2100-01-01 to 2028-07-04 or, until such time as Canada chooses to re-compete the supply arrangement, no longer deems the supply arrangement necessary, or proceeds with a different procurement vehicle. |
| April 2, 2018 | Going forward ProServices will have quarterly refreshes which cover the following periods:
ProServices has moved to perpetual quarterly refreshes, which means that it no longer has a scheduled re-competition. The closing date of the request for supply arrangement is 2100-01-01 or until such time as Canada chooses to re-compete the Supply Arrangement or no longer deems the Supply Arrangements necessary. |
| Re-competition results are published. All previously awarded supply arrangements issued between February 2014 and March 2017 are deactivated. | |
| October 27, 2017 | Solicitation for the additional opportunity to pre-qualify opens and is posted on Buy and Sell Tenders. |

Re-competition
In the past, every pre-qualified supplier was required to submit a proposal through the Data collection component (DCC) in order to maintain their current supply arrangement (SA). If no proposal was received during the re-competition, the supplier's SA was set aside once the results of the re-competition were awarded.
Moving forward, ProServices no longer has a scheduled re-competition. ProServices will have ongoing opportunities to qualify (known as quarterly refreshes).
Refresh
ProServices has moved to perpetual quarterly refreshes with established quarterly periods. The quarterly periods are also known as an "ongoing opportunity to qualify" that run consecutively. Quarterly refreshes are for:
- new suppliers who never submitted a proposal and who wish to submit one
- existing suppliers who wish to submit a proposal because they wish to add additional categories to their ProServices profile
Existing suppliers who do not wish to add additional categories to their profile do not need to submit a proposal for a "refresh".
