Determining accommodation
Accommodation requests are usually processed within 10 business days from when all documentation has been received. Please note that delays might vary, depending on the level of complexity of the file.
Creating adapted formats
Certain candidates will need to have adapted formats of the test created for them. This may take between 15 and 40 working days. For more information, please check our service standards for adapted formats.
Receiving a Second Language Evaluation test date
Receiving a Second Language Evaluation test date will depend on the schedule of the regional office where the test is to take place. Once the candidate has approved the accommodation, the centre will send the test date directly to human resources (HR), who will need to forward the invitation to the candidate.
Please note that the Assessment Accommodation Unit is not responsible for scheduling tests. For this reason, HR and candidates should not contact the Unit in order to obtain the date of their test. They should instead contact the regional office where their test will be administered.
