Firearm validation

Validation process

Before your payment is issued, your claim is validated to ensure that:

• Firearms, devices, parts and components received at our processing facility match what was submitted in your claim, including quantities, makes, models and serial numbers (if applicable)
• Firearms and devices are "complete" and assembled in order to be eligible for compensation
• Parts and components are in their original packaging
• All deactivation and shipment records submitted as part of your claim are accurate

Once your shipment is received and validated, the firearms, devices, parts and components are then destroyed.

Status of my shipment

After you've shipped your firearms with a licensed carrier or by post, you can track the status of your shipment through them. Once it's been received at our processing facility, you can track the validation process through your account.
