Population Health visual symbol

The Public Health Agency of Canada developed its own Population Health visual symbol, referred to as population health's "look and feel". Created and developed to form the image of a flower, the 'look and feel' symbol aspires to give a feeling of growth and renewal. Its dynamic design is a representation of the complexity of our health, and of the progressive view that the health of all Canadians can be improved through life factors such as better relationships with family and community, exercise and diet, education, employment and the environment. These determining factors of health are represented by the petals of the flower, while the figures emerging from the flower express action, growth and change.

The population health "look and feel" symbol is used on all population health documents and products developed by the Public Health Agency of Canada. It can only be used or reproduced with the express written consent of the Public Health Agency of Canada.
