Canada's Pandemic Preparedness Plan (CPPP) is in development. Once complete, the plan will replace the Canadian Pandemic Influenza Preparedness: Planning Guidance for the Health Sector.
The core content of CPPP is now available. It establishes fundamental elements of the plan, including context for planning, overarching principles and strategic advice for pandemic preparedness planning. It will be supported by technical components (available in 2027) that provide detailed technical recommendations and planning considerations.
