Ministerial Advisory Board on Dementia
The Ministerial Advisory Board on Dementia was established by the Minister of Health in 2018. The Advisory Board is providing evidence-informed advice on current and emerging issues, and on challenges and opportunities to help improve the lives of persons living with dementia. Input from the Advisory Board was a valuable contribution to Canada's National Dementia Strategy.
Membership
Careful consideration was given to establishing an Advisory Board with diverse membership that would contribute a wide-range of perspectives and advice on the health needs of people living with dementia. The Board is comprised of individuals living with dementia, caregivers, researchers, advocacy groups, and health care professionals.
